You know you're a 90s kid when...

Found an old episode of Nick’s Welcome Freshmen (anyone? anyone?) and I was thinking… it’s about time that those outfits got a revival. Anyone for crushed velvet bucket hats (can’t forget the giant flower!), babydoll dresses, and Docs?

My friend told me that I should just time travel to the 90s and stay there forever… I’m starting to think she might be right…

Oh, one more thing: Guess what got a reboot…

My word, this makes me feel SO OLD. I remember almost all of these!

Oh yes, and because I am such a Transformer: Beast Wars nerd, I will add in three more for the 'Ninties.

Your hero wasn’t Optimus Prime, it was Optimus PRIMAL.

You loved Blackarachnia because she was one of the few girls on the show.

You remember “TRUKK NOT MUNKEY!”

Haystack

How about these three, guys ?

You remember reading every R.L.Stine book , but Goosebumps was always your favorite series. You watched the TV show on Fox Kids each Friday hoping it would be a Living Dummy episode, because you had a MAJOR crush on Slappy the dummy.

You still have all your Pokemon stuff from 1999, and still insist you go to garage sales because you still " gotta catch 'em all "!!!

You could not watch the Child’s Play movies becasue Chucky gave you nightmares untill your Freshman year of high school.

This thread was made for me. :sunglasses:

You’ve played at least four of the seven Generation I Pokemon games (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Gold, Silver and Crystal). :sunglasses: Good ol’ days those were.

Did anybody else love Nick shows such as Kenen & Kel , All That , and Pete & Pete ? I miss those shows.

I also loved the movie Good Burger.

Aww! Here he goes.

I’ve seen the first two, and the movie, too. They were great shows then.

To me, Pete & Pete is better than the other two, because I liked the suburban absurdity/surreality of it all… I mean, two brothers with the exact same name, a 10-ish year old kid with two tattoos, a mom with a plate in her head that picks up radio signals, and… y’know, just read the wiki. I liked it all then, I love it now. I think that I’m better able to understand just how out there the show was.

Early All That was pretty good (Lori Beth Denberg was hilarious), but I remember to all the way back when Pete & Pete was only a series of shorts… All That kind of tanked toward the end, and Kenan & Kel tried too hard, in my estimation, but Pete & Pete was nothing but golden.

Oh I loved the old nickelodeon shows like Guts, Global Guts, Wild and Crazy Kids, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Good Burger, and others.

I wish I were a 90’s kid. More of an 80’s kid though

You know all the lyrics to the Pokemon theme song- actually when you know all the lyrics to all the Pokemon theme songs.

I’m sort of a 90’s kid, I got the very end of all that, I was born in ‘97 (yep, I’m a youngin’) so I’m mostly an 00’s kid, :stuck_out_tongue:. But I still know what most of the stuff on the list is…

You know you’re one you grew up in the 90s (i was born in july 93 so sort of), and loved the stuff then, and love it now (well that’s my take on it).
Snd jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez do i love the 90s, everything about it, trumps anything the 2000s decade (that decade sucked).
My brother’s soo lucky!!! he was age 5-15 in the 90s,
i grew up watching Scooby, Beavis and Butthead, Toy Story, Simpsons, Friends, Pokemon etc. All the good stuff, i wish the 90s lasted forever and never ended :frowning:

And speaking of the bold bit above ^

I still do love the stufff :D:D:D Friends, B and Bhead, Simpsons, the movies, everything that was good in a decade was int 90s.

Oh I loved the old nickelodeon shows like Guts, Global Guts, Wild and Crazy Kids, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Good Burger, and others.

That was so fun to read  I remember some of those things I completely forgot about! I was a halfway 90’s kid, born in 1995. But still, I can remember more than half of them

Well, i had lot of t-shirts and a cassette xD

Nostalgia just hit me like a kick in the balls.

Oh man i was a big fan of Pokemon at that time.

aw… this thread makes me miss my childhood.

sigh, yes I remember the days. :`-(

You remember getting up early on Saturday and watching Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh, Static shock and more cartoons and anime on Kids WB.
