It’s real short… but cool none the
less.
Oh yeah, I saw this a while ago – wouldn’t
have missed it! But thanks for posting up the clip, in any case.
Thanks for the video. Yeah, it’s short, but still great.
Short, but it gave us some footage we have never seen before. Even an incredible shot of Mr.
Bird himself. Nice find.

Wow that’s awesome nice find JV!!!
That clip is really cool, JV, and
finally there are more pictures of Linguini and Remy!
Thanks for the find!!!
Excellent behind the scenes clip, JV
Thanks for the heads up.
I can’t believe you beat me again,
JV! Haha – but yeah, nice find anyway! I saw that this morning…and I’m
absolutely in love. Remy is just the cutest thing… I mean, look at this little
face:
*s
igh* And I almost blushed like crazy when I saw the footage of the rats that Pixar studied over at their
studio… Ahhhh. I’m in love… <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In
Love" />

(Haha)
That is a great pic!
That one on the Main Page also looks really neat!
It’s funny, because I
was just at this page like a week ago and there was nothing! Great find
JV!
Also – if you click Greg’s Preview…it
says something about Remy being originally named Ratatouille…anybody know if this
is true?
Interesting. “Ratatouille” was actually the rumoured name of the
film’s main character before Pixar officially revealed that it was, in fact, “Remy”. Perhaps Greg just
got caught up in this whole windmill of rumours and assumed that it was true? I’m not sure.
I just realized something. According to the little statement beside the second
production photo of Remy, it is said that:
In the real rat world that we know of, one rat (usually
the veteraned leader/monarch) will have the job of tasting every morsel that comes in his and his clan’s path.
If, after taste-testing the morsel, the rat dies…the other rats in the “pack” will know that that
particular food is deadly and will not touch it. However, if the taste-tester continues to survive after eating
the piece of food, the other rats will come to realize that the newly-found tidbit is theirs for the
taking…
I like how they applied this concept into Ratatouille. Although,
thankfully Remy doesn’t have to actually eat the garbage to determine whether it is poisonous or not.
I just saw the behind the scenes look at it. I am so impressed by Brad Bird and his ability. I
can’t wait for the real thing.
Check this out guys It’s a behind the scenes featurette on Yahoo
Movieshttp://movies.yahoo.com/feature/r … v0y79fVXcA
This is gonna be
great. Brad Bird is Brilliant and in my humble opinion he is the best director working in animated films period
hands down. John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich and Pete Docter are right up there too
Both of his
previous Animated films have been just blissfull to watch. They are like ambrosia. Pixar is without a doubt the
greatest animation studio out there today. Noone comes close to the brilliance that is Pixar.
This movie
is gonna be great

101
In the Podcast we got are first glimpse of Auguste Gusteau!
JV, thanks for
the link!
That was wicked
awesome!!!
I love the new footage!
Oh yes thanks JV it is the best Behind the scenes one yet even though there is only
two of them.
JV - NO!!! You beat
me again!!! (snigger)
Heheh – yeah, it’s awesome! I’ve seen it 3-4
times already and I absolutely love it. We get a better glimpse of the backround
characters, how the kitchen system works, and – as you said JV – our first shot of
Gusteau himself! He’s just as jolly as I imagined him to be… Heheh.
And the whole thing with
Linguini flaming up the pot of soup had me cracking up, because I can’t cook either. I can’t cook and I
hate to do it, so watching somebody else make a mess of it just makes it all the
more hilarious.
I also love how the animators/employees described how they show how the restaurant
is run after its ratings plummet – they give you a real feel for the atmosphere of the moment.
Beautiful!!! Simply
stunning!! I was way off on some points in my whole
Ratatouille story thing. Drat.
Now I am really hungry. I just loved watching the cooking an the food and the ideas and
concepts behind it. Now that is going to the max. The people at Pixar study cooking and the details just to get
it right.
