Things You Want to do Before You Die

Get married
Have kids and watch them grow up and get married
Have grandchildren
Meet Andrew Stanton
Visit Pixar Studios
Be involved in a Pixar film
Go to France, England, Japan, and Taiwan
Meet Daniel Radcliffe
Be on Broadway and play the roles of Christine in Phantom, Elphaba in Wicked, and Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas (because someday, TNBC will be a Broadway musical. You just wait)
Act in a real movie that people will actually watch
Go on a mission for my church
Learn to make costumes for myself and for other people
Be able to fluently speak a second language
Play a Disney Princess at Disney World
Dance in the Block Party Bash Parade at Disney World
Find a career that makes me happy

Here’s the things I hope to do in my lifetime

  • Help make a pixar film.
  • Visit France
  • Go to Disneyworld
  • get a hole in one at a golf course
  • have someone ask me for my autograph
  • raise a succesful child
  • have a private movie cinema in my house
  • be that guy that my family says they wish they were
  • have my brother beg me for bail money (hahaha!)

I didn’t reply to this, so here’s mine:

  • publish a novel (or two)
  • write/illustrate a children’s book
  • become an animator or storyboard artist for some animation company (Disney or Pixar, preferably )
  • teach Art
  • have someone ask for my autograph (idea taken from mo :D)
  • own a horse
  • live in either a castle-like house or a haunted-mansion-like house (preferably ghost free  )
  • have a novel become a movie (with enough say in what happens on my part )
  • own an even bigger crystal ball.

I left family out of it because starting a family of my own just seems way too unreal for me at the moment. :stuck_out_tongue:

I also want to be able to invent holographic wallpaper. The idea for this invention came to me in a dream, and actually now, I find it a cool idea. Just how it works would be the problem…

EDIT: Unless that’s already been invented…then I want it in my room.

I’m making it a goal to go to every single museum in Los Angeles. Most recent visit is “The Museum of Tolerance” which is mainly about the Holocaust and showing tolerance to those of different race, religion, etc. It’s depressing beyond belief.

I want to:

-Become a great animator
-Work at Pixar
-Meet John Lasseter
-Meet JK Rowling
-Travel around Europe
-Spend time in Italy with my friend, Ottavio
-Learn to play the guitar
-Go to New York and visit the MOMA

There is one impossible thing I want to do now, and that is to create an awesome TV show opening containing effects very similar to those used [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcEGGF0XQmI:3ln0t0u5]here[/url:3ln0t0u5] (particularly, the scene where that red dinosaur starts to get bigger as the singer sings, "Big and bigger, biggest dreamer…"). God, that is one hard to do scene involving frame-by-frame stop animation [i:3ln0t0u5]which[/i:3ln0t0u5], includes having to edit each frame before processing them to the final animation.

In short, I just want to create an awesome kick-butt video for once. :-\ But, even Adobe has his limits, less said for his products.

Wow these are really interesting!

I’d want to

-work at Pixar definitely
-go skydiving :stuck_out_tongue:
-learn how to use Photoshop :open_mouth:
-meet Steven Spielberg
-meet Paul Newman (too late for that :frowning: )
-meet up with my friends from Italy or find my friend from Korea :frowning:
-get all my family members’ favorite cars in the future (inside joke)
-and live to be 75 which i think will be very hard to do because i obviously don’t know when i’m gonna die XD

-oh and have a pet ferret (unlike the one from Along Came Polly)

Ack, I’ve almost forgotten about my own thread!

  • Learn something new one day that will help me out the rest of my life.

  • Invent something truly unique that will help the world for the better.

  • Meet Micheal J. Fox (loved BTTF movies)

  • Meet Steven Spielberg (I second ya, Roflcoptinator!)

  • Witness something truly majestic (Not stolen from The Bucket List! )

  • Finally work up the courage to do something I never thought possible of myself

  • (Not sure if I already put this) Ride in Zero-G weightless experience

I’ve still got a few more, but I’m coming up with more everyday. I’d love to see what everyone else wants to do, so c’mon down!

Adding a few more…

-SnowBOARD a double black diamond without hurting myself (scary huh?)

-get into an art school in san francisco

-LIVE in san francisco

-bike the Golden Gate Bridge

-actually complete writing/drawing/whatever in any notebook/sketchbook for once (i always start, and then I stop, then i start on another one, then stop…etc)

-direct a pixar film, or more realistically, pitch a full story to a pixarian director

-own all the pixar “art of” books up to date

-meet: the four directors (andrew, john, brad, and pete to talk about their movies), lou romano (to talk about linguini), austin madison, elissa knight (to talk about eve), enrico casarosa (to talk about storyboardin), angus maclane, and lots more other pixarians

My list of things to do isn’t particularly large as of yet…but my ambition could very well be.

The things i would like to do are…

-I would like to write comic books for a leaving, in my dream world. I wouldn’t care if i didn’t get to work at Marvel or DC. Though I do have a few ideas about some of the characters, and superheroes are things i find inherently interesting. Not in any cynical way, however.

-I wouldn’t mind writing a story with…or for pixar, but it’d only be if they asked or had an interest in me doing so.

-Be able to visit Disneyworld frequently

-Meeting Morrissey would be a dream come true.

-Also, I would quite like to provide comfortable living for my Mum and Dad within the future. At the moment things are hard, and I would like to help them out in the future as they have helped me over the years.

I constantly do this sort of things in my head… So here’s a few

  • Become the Next and Final Timelord for Doctor Who or Become a recurring Character in either it or the Torchwood Franchise
  • Provide the voice for one or a number of Characters in both Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios works
  • Star in the latest Walt Disney Productions Child Phenomenon as part of the main cast
-Star in Several Summer blockbusters and Winter Oscar Runners
  • Travel the US and Australia
  • Gain my blackbelt and subsequent Dans in my current Martial Art and earn it in another Disipline
  • Inspire the next generation to Aim High and Reach for the Skies.
-Visit All Walt Disney Resorts/Worlds worldwide on a Regular basis
  • Help Walt Disney Imagineering Transform Walt Disney Studios at Paris into a “All Day Park” that needs two days to go round
-Star as a Dancer of Human Character in a Disneyland Resort/World Parade
  • Construct a Waistcoat out of Pixar Themed Prints
-Gain recognition for my ability to draw, it doesn’t need to be by a studios, just the recognition by someone in the industry would be nice
  • Direct both Live Action and Animation movies
-Keep Confidence in myself that anything is possible when you believe

I Did Say a few and come out with a dossier of dreams.

blows dust of topic Well, I thought it was definitely time I updated my portion, as it’s been forever since I’ve posted anything new here.

  • See the infamous “Wall of Cereal” in Pixar’s kitchen.
  • See Niagara Falls
  • Get my very own pet lizard (more sooner than later)
  • Go on a cruise
  • Write my own book
  • Cast a production
  • Be in a reenactment (Battle or other)
  • Meet the one I’ve been waiting for and
hope she’s everything that I want and more. (From “Find Yourself” -Not a big country fan, but a good song line none-the-less.)
  • Convert an '81 DeLorean into a movie replica from BTTF movies.
  • Learn to play the guitar
  • Actually make a decent 3D animation
  • Watch every Pixar movie again (Including ones yet to come out)
  • Wake up with Foldgers in my cup
  • Drive up to Hollywood Hills and stare at the city at 3am alone or with a significant other
  • See the Northern Lights
  • See the Meteor Shower that I missed last year, this year
  • Call up friends I never see (Courtesy of another song)
  • Actually meet someone from this wonderful board in real life (That’d be cool!)

Hmm, haven’t thought about this stuff for a while!

I’d love to:

-Work at Pixar as an animator
-Do so with Mitch and Hannah, as well as others on here that aspire to work for -them
-Meet Pete Docter
-Meet John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich, Scott Clark, Peter Sohn, Jonas Rivera, Brad Bird, and any other major Pixarians I can’t think of (Gary Rydstrom would be cool!)
-Work with all of the above (Mostly Pete, Peter, and Scott, as well as Andrew)
-Drive to work at Pixar in my Pizza Planet truck I’m gonna have
-Build Carl’s house, in stunning detail
-Live in a house with each room themed to a different Pixar film, my bedroom looking similar to Carl’s

There’s most of my Pixar related ones, can’t think of much else at the moment.

I think I can put this on there too.

Be the absolute best at something.

Well thought TSS, now that would be something I am adding to my list…

Thank you… as being the Best… would you want to be the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be?
