Snipe's random art

Woah, Jonah those are amazing! You’re incredible. I’d never be able to do that.

Hey, thanks, everyone! I’ve got some new renderings here of my latest model, a classic RadioFlyer wagon :sunglasses: :

This was actually relatively easy, with the exception of the tire details (those took forever!) and the lighting. :unamused:

WOW thats awesome!

Good job, Snipe! That looks amazing!

Once again, I am super jealous!

Wow, I haven’t updated this thread in awhile!

This stuff isn’t necessarily what you’d usually call ‘art’, but they are my ‘creations’. This first one is a short I created with my family back in 2009. We created it using a mixture of CG and live action. Anyways, here it is:

Imagine

And this is cool too:

I don’t know if you can see it, but the bottle is filled with a bunch of red and black Legos. I got the bottle from this soda store called Pops we’ve got here in Oklahoma on Route 66.

Your Route 66 Bottle is super kewl!

Thanks!

Thats some really cool stuff

The Route 66 bottle looks nice! Judging by the legos, I can tell that you collected them.

the mushrooms are great! also like the pasteboard? (with the notes etc), i don’t know how you call it in english.
but the rest also looks cool!

Thanks, everyone!

Haha, yup. My whole family does. Those ones in the bottle are just a few of them. 8D

We’d call it a chalkboard/bulletin board. But yeah, thanks!

Haha, you probably have thousands or legos don’t you? 8D

Oh yes. Probably tens of thousands. We’ve got over three buckets full of them. 8D

But hey, did anyone watch the short film?

For some reason, the video didn’t come up as it redirected me to YT’s home page.

Fantastic! These are really amazing! I liked these even better than your other graphics! How long does it normally take you to make an image like that?

Thanks so much! Let’s see… if you’re asking how long the overall project takes, it can be days, sometimes weeks from the original idea to the final product. As for the actual rendering process, that really just depends on how detailed the image is. For example, Evening’s Fiddle, the violin one, took me 2 days to render, while others can take only a few minutes.

Hmmm… I think I’ve fixed it now. Could you try it again?

I’ll have some more stuff to share with you all here in a little while… I’ve got a character design of this squid-monster thing and a 3D take on Mother Brain from Super Metroid that I’m working on right now. :sunglasses:

Yep, it works now. It actually looked pretty good. I’m guessing that was your brothers in the video?

Thanks! And yep, it was. My whole family was in it actually. I was the one in a black and white shirt with a clone helmet. Of course, we’re all a lot older now.

Yep, it looked like it had to have been recorded a couple years ago. When I first saw those clone helmets I immediately thought of Star Wars. Oh, I laughed during the end credits when you listed Josh as “Joshy”. 8D
