I was browsing through the Oscar nominees, and the short film Oktapodi caught my eye. Do any of you know what it’s about?

I saw it a couple months ago on an animation website. It’s from the French animation school Gobelins. It’s a really cute, well done animation about two octopuses who are in love and on their way to a market to be sold.

Yeah, that short looks pretty intriguing. Thought it was anime at first, the avatar on the Oscar nominees website was what caught my eye with the squids and all that. If anyone knows where to find the original short, let us know!

To be honest, I didn’t like it at all. It was pretty boring, and it didn’t keep my attention.

I actually really liked this short. It has a clean style to it, and its worth a laugh.
