A new WALL-E short has premiered on Disney.com, it’s WALL-E Meets a Magnet! The follow up to the vaccuum episode is hilarous, as you know WALL-E is made of metal, so he doens’t do so good with magnets…

The magnet one was cute, but not as great as the vacuum. Also the animation seemed kinda weirdly stretchy; done by a different system type.

A cute little vignette, and a clever story, seeing as it only goes for 22 seconds. I think the main purpose is to display the physical capabilities of our favourite little robot, as well as expressing his personality, particularly as there is no real dialogue. Some new WALL•E “talking” for people like me who can’t get enough of Ben Burtt’s work on this.
